Hubby just went to our little rural post office to pick up our mail early before it went out for delivery-and a big surprise for me-2 mail art cards from Laura-MommySwanson, I love them very much thank you so much for making the cards for me Laura. We lived in Hebron, Il for about 25 years before retirement so we weren't too far from you. I am in the middle of putting up some more apples-I have been doing 1/2 bushel a day-this brings it up to 3 bushels total-I will post a photo today of my beautiful cards Kathy

Mmm...I wonder if Jenny Carr is on vacation or something? I wonder if she received the mail art I sent? Has anybody heard from her or might know her? Is she ok? Hope so. LadyDarcy Psalm 24 |

I did get your card kathyinozarks! I LOVE IT! Ironically one reason I didn't get it posted until CJ had to remind me :( was I am so busy harvesting APPLES! (along with my entire garden) My hubby has a broken foot and is of no help to me right now so I have been unexpectedly overwhelmed. The netting idea is genius & I adore the appliques! My all time favorite desert is Apple Crisp so I can't wait for the hubby to get better and make it for me! (he's the cook normally at our house) Another card that marks the spot! Thank you! Now if I could just remember how to put my pics up, everyone could see it! It's awesome!

Good morning Ginny, thanks so much for posting-I would love a photo if you can, as I forgot to take one for my files. I know what you mean by being overwhelmed. I had just gotton thru putting up several bushels of pears, when my neighbor that gives me his apples-was worried I wouldn't get over in time to pick them, so he brought over about 4 bushels-needless to say I have been working up a 1/2 bushel of apples a day now for awhile-lol Hope your hubby's foot heals soon, and he is not in too much pain. hugs from the ozarks

I am so inspired by the creativity of my fellow farmgirls. From the range of mail art ideas to CJ and Robin's decoration of the van for the Cure. Staci, if you can post the mail art I sent you, that would be great. My camera is on the fritz now! Dianne

I got my Mailart from Pat in Hastings, Mi, full of coinsidences. She sent a picture of her vacation log cabin - I live in a log house; she lives in Michigan - I grew up in Michigan!! I will try to figure out how to add a picture of her great card. |

Hit the jackpot yesterday! TWO cards! One from Cindy in UT for August and one from Antoinette in PA for this month.
Cindy-I'm SOoooo glad you decided to go ahead and send your card. YES, I did get the humor along with a friend I showed it to when I opened it. And BTW-I LOVE Hello Kitty!!! Thank you!
Antoinette- The stitched patchwork was so wonderful!! I just love it! And so enjoyed the letter you wrote inside. Sounds like you've been very busy this summer!
Thanks gals-I loved them. I just got a new camera and don't have it figured out yet. When I do, I'll post a few pics!!

No - it makes me so sad to think it was my very first mail art and has apparently went astray in the mail system! I have answered your email just a bit ago.

HI Ladies,,, I have not been online in a couple of weeks. I just want Carole in Arizona to know that I'm sending hers out today. I'm so sorry I'm running a few days behind this month. Later this weekend I'm going to figure out how to post a pic of the wonderful art I received from Kristen in GA. It was soooooo wonderful! Thank you Kristen so much, I truly am enjoying this gift.
