Girls other than the pillows that will go out next week I am out again, but as several of you are requesting them if you will send me your address I will put your names down and first come first serve as I find the supplies.Nicole I will email you. Sure hope none of you get this old bug I have lived on crackers and water for a week. The commode and I have gotten to be soul mates.

Miss Wilma I hope you feel better soon. We have had bug here too. Hopefully this week things will get better. I was wondering where you get your down and feathers and if they are cleaned any special way.

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Miss Wilma...I do hope you feel better soon. My boys have been touched by some kinda bug this week too. I know you must be miserable. Hopefully it will be short lived. When you do feel better, let me know when you make some more pillows. I would be absolutely THRILLED to have a set!

I am so glad you're better, but I hope it doesn't come back around to get you again. Don't get too close to your hubby! I just sent your money this morning. I hope the address on the box is the right one. That's where it'll be going.

Ugh...Miss Wilma...I thought I could not get it from my boys. I was extra careful in taking care of them and being clean. No such luck...this bug is NASTY! I had an awful night last night and am feeling a little bit better right now, but still very weak from my rough night. I'm glad you are feeling better.

Well, I hope Spring weather gets here soon and everyone gets well. I have been interested in this thread because I have been afraid to try feather pillows for years now. My grandmother gave my mother some over thirty years ago and my mom was so allergic to them that she threw them away. I was wondering if anyone knew how the feathers are prepared .... if they are washed a certain way. I have been thinking that if could have been how they were cleaned or something they were cleaned with. I would love to try some, but thought I would ask if anyone else had had a problem with allergies first or if they even had an opinion on the subject.

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Miss Wilma, My pillows arrived yesterday and I am in Heaven. They remind me of my Mammaw's. I put them on my bed right away and slept like a queen last night. I will put your check in the mail on Tuesday. Thank you again and thank you for resending them.delicia

Miss Wilma,
I signed onto this thread last week so I can stay posted for when you have pillows again!! I hope you will!!
Tight budget, so I could not buy on this round.
I look forward to when I can make a purchase!!!
Cheers!

Peapicker, I was a bit concerned about allergies too. I have allergies of some kind, not sure what exactly I'm allergic to but I have to take allegra every day. (I figured I'd take a chance on Miss Wilmas famous pillows, and if it turned out I couldn't keep them I could barter them to someone here.) I've been using the pillows for a couple of weeks now, and so far no problems.

I would like to know more about the pillows too, if Miss Wilma sees this and has time. I'm just curious...where do the feathers and the vintage ticking come from? And how are the feathers prepared? I'm guessing home-made pillows are a little different from mass-produced ones.

Bless you Amie C. I was wondering if I had been the only one with the allergy problem. After my mother was so convinced the pillows were her problem I have been afraid to try the feather ones. Now, after reading about Miss Wilmas pillows being so popular with the farm girls I have been wanting to give it another try. I would think that after two weeks you will be fine as far as allergies go. I have all kinds of allergies, but they have improved lots since we moved to the country. I finally realized one of my big offenders was the gas fumes in cities. Everytime we go around heavy traffic areas my cough comes back.

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
