I love Mr. Darcy!!! He makes me laugh. I think it is wonderful how Elizabeth puts him in his place and shows him the way to his heart. I am quite sure if I was Elizabeth I would have been tried beyond my patience!

I am reading chap. 7. I always love the banter between Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth...I mean really Mr. Darcy...is so sure he can win her...Imagine his surprise later on...when she throws him for a loop.

Hello Everyone, I'm a new farmgirl as of 4/22/2010 and I would love to join this group. I'm a big fan of Jane Austen and am currently working on hand pieceing one of her quilts called "Dear Hannah". Is it too late for me to start reading and are you still on the first book listed? Bellagirl #1443

I was just going to ask that Linda. I am just now finishing the book. lol When Esther had her kids I had to stop everything for about a week or so. But now I am back on track!
