Glad you like the notecards Annie. You are so welcome. They were made by a local artisan here in the Black Hills. She does awsome work.

I wanted to thank the ladies who sent Christmas cards. I am sorry that I'm not including names.... I participated in a Christmas card swap & had almost 40 swaps....I was thanking the senders on that thread & I realized that some the cards I received had to have been from RAOK gals. Well by then, ALL the cards I (& my family) had received were put together. Please forgive my laziness in not trying to sort them out. Holidays are over & I can see straight again....sorry for the flub! Thanks again for your thoughfulness!!! Happy New Year everyone!

Thank you, CJ, for the neat package!! The bandana will come in handy this summer as a neck cooler/dust keeper-outer on my trail rides. Several years ago I started using a small horsey calendar so that I didn't double-book myself on rides. This is perfect because it fits in my purse so I always have it. And the bag--it reminds me of the "possible" bag that my black powder friends use. Maybe because the possibilities are endless or one might possibly use what's in there! How neat. Thank you so much.

CJ, thanks so very much for the New Year's package. Was out of town and when I checked the mail after getting home from church, there it was!! And I love everything! Don't know what to do with the nifty cow fabric yet, but the hweels are turning and hubby is even coming up with suggestions. The muffler is gorgeous! It will go beutifully with my coat and tomorrow is going to be really COLD, so it will come in handy. Love the journal, note cards, and recipe cards. Everything will definitely be put to good use. I am feeling so loved right now!!!!

Thank you for your thoughtfulness and for thinking of me.

CJ - Thank you so much for the wonderful package. Our house smells lovely right now with one of the wax tarts in my burner. I love the book and the bright flowered notecards, notepad, and journal. They remind me of Spring on this snowy day in Texas.

Annie I wanted to thank you for the wonderful note cards. I love writing letters and I know my grandmother will love it. Sorry ladies that I have been absent, but I have been super sick with morning sickness. This baby takes up most of my day, from about noon till I go to sleep, but has been letting up between 430 and 530, how nice of it. I will keep everyone posted on if its a boy or girl. I hope everyone is doing well.

I'm sorry I haven't been to the forum in a while and wanted to send a big THANK YOU to one of you sweet ladies from the Phoenix area.
I received an anonymous RAOK Christmas card with a special extra inside right around Christmas. It was a true blessing - thank you.
You can't know how much it meant to me and how blessed I feel to be part of this wonderful sisterhood. hugs!

CJ,

I was so very surprised and thrilled to received your special package full of gifts that fill my soul! All of the things I love. I was especially smitten with the bias tape priced at 8 cents each. It was kind of humbling in a strange way. It made me wonder who the previous owner was and what she was like. And the chicken calendar and to do list(I needed a new one) were perfect for a chicken lover like me. I'll enjoy a cup of tea tonight while I try to finish one of my many unfinished projects. Really, everything was perfect for me. I also have some buttons on safety pins. Sometimes I just look at them! They inspire me! The whole package made me feel very special. Thank you so much. Also loved your address labels. I think need some of those! Will you share your source?

CJ, You have been a very busy girl! I don't know when you find the time to make us Farmgirls feel so special, but you do! Today, I was the recipient of a wonderful RAOK from you, all wrapped up in a pretty bandana - very classy one too! I love red :)!
Inside were lots of special goodies just for me - like Scotty Dog fabric - so cute, Scotty sticky note pad, can't have enough of them!
The Scotty Dog is so precious - did you make him? He'll go so good in my Serro Scotty Glamper that is all decked out in Scotty Dogs.
Then we have the yummy teas, the Butterfingers, I might just put one of them in my chocolate HerbAlife shake - it will be delish. Love the note cards and the journal also. You sure did bless my heart today with this wonderful surprise!
Thanks again for Everything - big hugs!
Ruth

Melanie,
Some of the old trims were in the stash in my MIL's sewing room, some others were given to me by one of my Farmers Market apron customers. I love them too!!! My MIL gave me LOTS of buttons on safety pins . . .if I ever need safety pins too!!
AND, I make my address labels . . . I've done several different ones but the chicks were the ones I have now. I could make you some too for price of supplies . .

Ruth,
I did make the little Scotty dog . . . I made a bunch of those little guys to sell at Christmas Bazaars . . had red ones, white ones and black ones. I just had a white one and a black one left. I adore them and hope to get more made this year too!!

You girls are SOOOOOOOOOOOO very welcome. It was my pleasure!!!!

WAHOOOOO!!!! I've been RAOKed!!

"AlterationsbyEmily"

Emily,
You blew me away today!! I sat here in tears, this baby doll is so precious, the outfit is just simply amazing and I love the pincushion and the pins too!! Not to mention the paper pattern pieces for making the outfit. I don't know how you knew I would instantly fall in love with this baby doll. . I cannot thank you enough!!!

It is -22 degrees outside, it makes for a tough day. I was getting ready to head down to the mailbox to gather the mail when our mailman showed up at my door to hand deliver my package. . . I could not imagine what was arriving. . . So thank you for making today so extra special with your wonderful gifts!!

jojo, I had asperations of making her a new dress but decided against it, not enough time and too many other projects, I picked her up at my local flea market for $1. I am glad that she came to you unharmed and I will keep my eyes peeled for more.

Aha! CJ struck again. A great purple bandanna scarf....matches my new purple top. Cute lil' purple pigs on the note card. A cookbook which CJ had her hand in publishing and contributing recipes to. And a pattern for the cutest wall hanging.
Thanx so much CJ.

My best to all,
Mel
