I've just received a wonderful ROAK from Anna!! Anna sent me a sweet hand written note and a box full of goodies to celebrate the birth of our son, Orin. Super cute (and warm!) smartwool booties, a ME baby book, and two fun onesies for our little guy. And a beautiful hand made calendar and blue shiny brite christmas ornaments for mom. Anna, as always, everything you sent was perfect. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.

| Well, I received the best ever RAOK via email! Seriously!!! Annemary sent me a personal email to thank me for the baby gift and included a "smile box" I have never seen the likes of this - it is an electronic photo album and hers is filled with shots of newborn Orin. Thank you sooooo much Anne, I LOVED seeing you, your husband (hug him for thinking of my bottle cap fetish) and your prize from heaven. You are a very handsome family! | I made a brief comment under the Christmas card swap about what I have had to be a part of. Because of that great icky thing I haven't done my part with "RAOK's", I'm sorry. The icky seems to be over, I had to be a witness in a lawsuit. So my first thing I would like to do is tell each of you Merry Christmas, for those that prefer "Happy Holidays". I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I enjoyed making it. I discovered smilebox when I made a memorial for Rowan for his life celebration, and I love it. You can also add music to it, which makes it even better, but I wasn't able to do it this time as my normal computer is in the shop. Our little turkey is actually sleeping (and so is his papa!) I should be, too, but I get so little time to catch up right now.
Orin wore his booties from you last night, they are so adorable. Thank you again for you kindness and generosity, it really means so much.

I got the sweetest gift today from Betsy (TexBetsy). It's a beautifully crocheted candy cane with a real candy cane woven into it. It is hanging on my tree now and it is so pretty! Thank you so much, Betsy. Had a really rough day at work and this really turned everything around.

Thank you Julie and Annie for the Christmas cards. They came as I was recovering from some awful cold which laid me up for two weeks where I couldn't even talk. The cards were a welcome surprise which cheered me up from feeling so horrible. Thank so much again.

Just received the most lovely Christmas Card from Annie. Thank you so much for thinking of me. Live has gotten in the way of a lot of things right now. Working a lot of overtime. Don't get me wrong, very thankful to have this job and everyone is very nice there. I just got a little to busy at work and forgot what is really important. Home, Family and Friends. Annie, your card reminded me that the truly important thing is the kindness we give and receive.
Again thank you so much for thinking of me. The card is beautiful.

Yippee! I received 3 pieces of farmgirl mail today!
CJ - Thank you SO much for the ADORABLE apron for Orin - we absolutely love it! His papa says it will be perfect for doing art work, and I think it will work well in the kitchen, too. Yes, it will be awhile before he fits into it (I think he just hit 9lbs today) but he sure will be a cutie when it fits, and it's definitely something to look forward to. You are so thoughtful, thanks!!!
