Thank you Melanie for the anniversary card. It really meant a lot to me! Thanks for remembering. :) We stayed the night at a hotel, did some shopping and watched a couple funny movies. Also stuffed ourselves on greek food at a little cafe that was right next to the hotel. It was a great time to reconnect with hubby, especially since I don't see him all that often. :)

I, too, received a jeans pocket for my fridge this week! I was so surprised and it made my whole day! I absolutely love it! But I know who sent it, and I don't want to say, just in case it's the same person who sent one to Cindy and wants to remain anonymous! All I can say is, you know who you are, and I just feel so blessed and so grateful to have such a wonderful friend as you! Everytime I'm in my kitchen, I see the pocket, smile, think of you and pray a prayer for you! Love and hugs - Nini

| Diana Weinhardt, I'm ashamed to say that I am just now posting about receiving your RAOK gift of the beautiful stationary.It's so pretty with the blue letters O on each piece of paper. Even the box is lovely! It's been here for 6-7 days. Two of the days I didn't feel very well. Anyhow, thanks very much again. Like I said these gifts come just at the right time! |

Thanx Darlene (Healing Touch) for the the great RAOK. Recipes look great......coincidentally I have been into my slow cooker lately and can't wait to try the bread pudding. And looove strawberries! The gingerbreadman look ornament is just adorable. Love the fragrance,the doily, the plaque and the lil' teddy bear pin. Your pic is sweet! Thanx again.

I was so excited to get RAOK today! Thank you so...much Mrs. Yarbrough, for the jean pocket refreg. note holder...I just love it....what a cute idea.... Oh! you have the same taste of foods that I love as well...

Mel...So glad you like everything. I was getting worried that it was lost. Now I have to check the ornament swap to see if my other gingerbreadman arrived where it was supposed to.

Anna~ I'm so sorry I'm late in thanking you for your wonderful gift. I got it earlier this week and have been enjoying it a little every day. I've been laid up on the couch sick this week and The Random Acts of Kindness book and your sweet note has been a wonderful bight light to my dreary week. And the little Halloween bag with Halloween goodies has brought us all somefestive cheer. We were really starting to think with this nasty bug that we might miss out on our Halloween fun this year, but it looks like the bug may leave this house just in time!
Your note really touched me, Anna. I have been so consumed with life and this old house lately I've been forgetting what's really important and have been feeling rather lost. Thank you so much for helping me to remember! You are a great friend and I am grateful to have you in my life.

Thank you so much Mary Jo (gypsygoat) for the "little pretty"! I've never had a pashmina/big scarf before, although I have admired them many times! I absolutely love it, and the color is PERFECT. I had to laugh in your card when you said "just a little pretty for you...." - I had just come in from butchering chickens and felt not so pretty...and there was your gift. I LOVED IT!!!!! Talk about perfect timing! :) Thanks!!

Diana, Thank You for the wonderful birthday package!! I love the harvest towel, notepad, recipe cards and the vintage crochet patterns. But I have to say the best part of the package were both of your letters and your picture. You are one busy farm girl and yet you find time to bring joy to so many others, the true meaning of a farm girl.

I received a wonderfully sweet package from MaryJo (gypsygoat) yesterday. I love the fabrics MaryJo and I can promise you they will be put to good use. I have been looking for a few additional pieces to finish off the quilt my grandmother started and I believe I will be able to use all of the ones you sent. Thank you so much I really needed a pick me up.

Thanks Melanie. I know that is a lot of work, thanks for all the time and effort it takes to keep this rolling.
Yesterday when I went to the mail box I found a special treat from CJ. Thanks CJ. The quilt scraps will come in handy and will most certainly be used. I am working on finishing up a quilt right now and will be starting another soon. What a wonderful gift. Once I incorporate your pieces into a new top, every time I look at the new quilt I will think of you.

Your box arrived last Monday at the beginning of a very long, hard week and I've been so blessed by your generosity.
