Thank you, Diana (dianaw1123), for the lovely note set--and so cheerfully wrapped! It is quite the grey day today and morning sickness is still frustrating so what a delight to receive such pretty things! I like the lavender and Jemima Puddle Duck; too cute.

Would any of you girls be interested in trying some rosemary carmels I made? I made a batch to put in the middle of brown butter short bread cookies I made and have alot left. You really have to like rosemary... This coming week I have to catch up on my mailing and thought if anyone would like to try some I could send it out to you. If interested shoot me an email.

Oh happy day!

Jessie - I was hoping you could use those - I had just sent them when I got your RAOK in the mail and it made me laugh that we sent each other embroidery transfers but I didn't want to ruin the surprise so I didn't post anything, it just about killed me:) Anyway, thank you so much for the lovely RAOK, it was so nice!!

Diana,

I got your package. No, I haven't read this particular book and am so looking forward to it. And the Peter Rabbit sticky notes are just too precious. I don't think I want to use them but just put them on display. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and for thinking of me. It is so greatly appreciated.

Michelle (Primitivepilgrim), I just got your wonderfull package today! Again the mail lady drove up the driveway and handed me a box. I ran in the house to open it. It's a beautiful hummingbird windchime! It's so pretty. I immediately took it out and have it hung already in the maple tree out front. Then I had to clean out the hummingbird feeder and put sugar water in it since I did see one the other day. Then that got me to looking at my yard. I have a bird bath with some rocks around it but has gotten overgrown with grass and weeds that's right next to the tree with the hummingbird things in it. So I started digging out all that. Then added the last of a big bag of potting soil. I need lots more now. I'll go tomorrow and get some. I transplanted some little yarrow and 2 lamb's ear. I need lots of flowers in there. It's not huge but big enough to not be overwhelming. So then I had some petunias left from my pink and purple bike. I found a hanging pot and grabbed the black iron plant hanger thing and put the petunias in that. Then I had some pink spray paint left over so painted the hanger and the pot pink and stuck it in the little fower garden. It looks cute so far. It will look better when I get some more flowers. Then I started dreaming up ideas for the corner of the yard under a big huge maple tree. I am going to get a bench and some azaleas and shady flowers and fix that up. All this because a sweet farmgirl sent a pretty hummingbird windchime! Who'dathunk?

So thamk you so much, Michelle. And I LOVED the card. I will have to put that in a frame. It's a little girl in a pretty dress herding some Holstien cows with a stick. There's a barn and a cat and a goose in some water. Just beautiful. Thank you!

Hugs, Kris

Hi all,

I recieved a great book from Diana over the weekend. I am already busy reading it and Diana you had the greatest idea to play it forward and send it to someone else on the list to enjoy and sign the front cover to see how far it goes. It will be a surprise as to who the next recipent is. Thank you so much! If the rest of the book is as good as the first three chapters I won't want to put it down until I complete it.

Ooops missed saying thank you for my buttons. They are really neat. Cute wooden hearts with flowers on them. I am going to go through my quilting magazines and find a wall hanging pattern I can add these too. Diana you were so kind.

My husband thinks this is so neat. He loves to see my eyes light up when a package comes in the mail. He waits and watches as I open it up. I think he is just a bit jealous.

Isn't it funny to see the expressions on our family members' faces when we get a farmgirl package in the mail, Nettie. My youngest insists on being the one to open all packages. She does get to open most, but occasionally I can't wait till she gets out school.

CJ, Hubby just handed me the envelope that arrived yesterday. Thank you so much for the nice ending to a hectic week end! Your were absolutely right in thinking that I could use another little something to put my craft supplies in. My daughter snatched the tin sun/moon hanger already. And it was great to get the Easy Chinese Cooking book, that is one type of food I have never been able to master; however after looking at some of these delicious looking recipes and how they have simplified them I think I can do it!. Thank you so much Robin.

Well, I came home Saturday and found a package on my doorstep - Thank you so much, Debra. She sent me a cookbook that I have just been drooling over, when we've had time. It is a "Taste of Home" and those are some of my favorite cookbooks - along with Gooseberry Patch. We've been trying to get our garden in so when the weather's decent, we're out working and this is the first time I've touched computer keys in a couple of days. Thank you, thank you, Debra.

This has been so much fun. I don't have many friends other than you ladies and y'all have made me feel so great and special. I so appreciate it.

Diana, I received the package you sent today. You are so thoughtful and it shows in the items that you send. Love the Lilly of the valley candle, the stamp with my initial on it will be perfect for my stationary and the little house of paper is way.... adorable!
The coaster has found a spot here on the end table, it will remind me of your thoughtfulness every time I use it. Thanks so much!
