have begun to talk on the phone together and email each other often, and maybe even see each other....in other words, have become true friends? I would love to see who that has happened to who never knew each other before MJF!

I count myself lucky in making farmgirls friends! I've met Julia Hayes (and her adorable kids) face to face and felt like we'd known each other our entire lives. And Autumn Leaves (aka Jennifer) and I email a LOT. My life is much richer having them in my life. Along with all the farmgirls, actually. How about you, Jeannie, have you met or emailed some farmgirls?

I have met Kelly Wall. She's not too far from me. We talk on the phone, e-mail and have had lunch together several times. Even met little Abby. They have been to my house. Also have met Karen F. and talk to her on the phone. She's been here also. And I talk to Tina Hale from Ga. And I would LOVE to meet Gena and Sherry. We e-mail and send cards. Also I am pen pals with several ladies. I would love to meet Miss Channah one day. And I have talked to Cindy from Idaho. So I feel like I have made alot of friends here. It's so neat to get a phone call from farmgirls all over the country. I would love to meet everyone on here some day.

I have met Karin south of Atlanta (mumof3) in Georgia when she had MaryJane to her house several years ago. I have emailed a little with Nancy Jo, Kay with Rustic Cottage, and my farmgirl friend Delicia. Once I talked to Miss Wilma and we emailed for awhile. And I count myself lucky to have met MaryJane and Meg. But as far as calling on the phone and having a real friendship bloom, I have not. I really think it is wonderful how often it has happened for many farmgirls, though. Who else has made close friends here?

I have met Deeredawn (Dawn). I live in Buffalo, NY and she lives in Nova, Ohio. I took the greyhound bus and stayed her her house for a few days last May while she was having an Heirloom Mavens event. She is everything, kind, crazy, etc! We still keep in touch and I hope to see her again soon!

I have made and met many good friends here on the forum!
Julia H is the reason I even came on the blog as I e-mailed here through MaryJane to comment on her magazine article---we are good friends! Also, I have a very good pen-pal Julie from Paradise Plantation and we have been corresponding for I think over a year and yes we speak to each other on the phone---when snail mail is too slow!!

I am new here and would love to find some email pals or snail mail pals. I just moved to south Texas from Ohio this past July. I am sadly 1300 miles from friends and family. |

Nancy G. of West Seneca introduced me to this site. We thrift store together when possialbe. She goes more than I and she aways finds something very cool.
We both want to meet Sue Feely from this area but so far we haven't hooked up yet, maybe this summer.
Hope all your days are Sunnydays. dianebcarterhotmailcom.blogspot.com |

That would be so cool ceejay. This morning, I went to my special box that I keep things I have received from farmgirls.....and was overwhelmed at how much is in it. Things from gals who have wandered away, and lots from friends here everyday. And I am not nearly as active in swaps, etc as many of you are.....I felt a rush of affection for all of them. This place is carving it's own spot in my personal life history, what about yours?
