Well, I WAS going to order my seeds this year from Parks. But then Gurneys sent me a catalog. If you spend 50.00, they take 25.00 off. I didn't know if this would help anyone in their seed shopping, but, they have a lot of the same varieties as Parks, and they're not too bad on shipping either.

Just a tip!

Starbucks and sushi to green fried tomatoes and corn pudding-I wouldn't change it for the world.

We started with Gurney's 30+ years ago and loved their value packages. Need a new catalog. :)

Make my words soft and tender, for I may have to eat them. :)

I had a funny experience with Gurneys (or was it Henry Fields, which seems to be the same company?) We ordered a variety of sweet corn seeds, and they didn't have it so they sent a substitute (which was not the kind we wanted.) We called and they apologized and said they would send us some more, and not to return the original shipment. So, a week or so later, we get the wrong variety again. We called again, and guess what? They said keep the incorrect shipment and they would send us the correct variety. So, a few weeks later, guess what? The WRONG corn seed again. We gave up and planted it, it was good corn, just not the kind we had in mind... We were ordering a pound at a time so we had quite a lot of corn that year.
