I know some of you must whip up your own seasoning salt. Would anyone like to share what you put in it and how much? Thanks in advance!!!

I make a seasoning blend...not exactly seasoning salt, but we put it in everything we cook. I start with Old Bay Seasoning and add all kinds of dried herbs, garlic, red pepper, black pepper, just about everything I have in the cabinet that would go with that. I put a spoon in it set it on the counter to use. One-stop seasoning. More room in the cupboards. A win/win situation! It never comes out the same twice when I make it, either. I'm always changing it. I made some for mom too. She had gobs of bottles of seasonings in her cupboard. Not any more! I also did the same with her pie-type spices. Also makes a great gift!

Thank you ladies!! Judy- years ago I always had a big mixed up jar of spices we used to put on all our grilled meats and veggies. I don't know why I stopped doing that. But now that grilling season is coming up I'm thankful for the reminder.
Candy- That sounds very good!! I have everything except the tumeric. I have that added to my shopping list. Can't wait to mix some up. I was looking at my seasoning salt and thought there must be an alternative without anti-caking junk and dye.

A big thank you!!!!
