Hi Farmgirls!

I love to see farm photography (who doesn't?) so if you have some photos of yours, could you please post it here? Maybe tell us a little bit about your farm too: like what you've named it, what state your from, maybe even some quirks about the farm. Or you could send a link to a blog that contains the pictures.

Thanks !!!
- Stephanie

We are aiming for self sufficiency and named our farm Symbiotic Acres. Our land actually belonged to my father 35 years ago, he sold it to buy the farm we grew up on, coincidentally it came onto the market while we were searching for home. He told me of he and my gramp clearing the fields with an old 3 bottom plow.

Hope those work, there shouldn't be any password protection on. I love the pictures in the quiet, haze of summer mornings

Thank you for posting the pictures and the story gra8fulmom! It must feel good to be tending the same fields you dad and grandfather tended. What a wonderful twist that it went up on the market; things always happen for a reason.
And the pictures are great, the farm looks beautiful! And I am soooo jealous of your "stitching room"!!!

Sarah,
Thanks for posting the pics. I too love your sewing room. Is your home a geodesic dome? Appears to be so from the sewing room.
Are you coming to the Farmgirls ofthe Mitten get together in april?

Sarah, I just LOVE your sewing space! I had to give mine up when my son needed to move back in. Now I'm in the dark and depressing end of the basement with everything piled around me. but things could be worse...so I'm grateful for what I have.
Your home is beautiful!

It's been awhile since I included this link here to our little farm (nearly 4 acres). You can see our place here:

www.tanddfarm.blogspot.com

My husband and I moved here in June of 2008 and we've learned so much! But there's always more to learn and more work to do, but it's fun as long as we keep a good attitude. For now we don't have farm animals but someday we may raise chickens. Blessings, Debra from Healing Acres in Western New York
