I was so excited!! I worked part of the garden this weekend and planted peas!!! I've got onion sets and strawberries to plant when I get back home on Friday. But I was just so happy to get to spend some time outside working in the dirt. Of course, it rained all day the next day and this morning it was 28. But the peas won't mind. :) I'm so anxious to get started in the garden I can hardly stand it!!

I share you feelings! I am so ready to get my fingers dirty planting and even pulling weeds. I cannot wait to pick okra, tomatoes, etc... LOL. Enjoy the garden.

Good for you, Sarah! I have never planted peas. I just don't like to do all the stuff that goes along with it. That's why I like bush beans, Too much work. One day though, I am going to try them. A friend grows them every year.

I am itching to get in mine. But it's just way too wet here now. I do need to get some raised beds ready to move some strawberry plants soon.

I hope your weather stays nice so you can get some more done soon. Have fun.

So happy for you. I haven't been able to do one thing in my beds. We have had such weird winter weather.

Well, wonders never cease. I've been in Raleigh, NC all week (away from my garden)and it actually SNOWED here this morning? What's up with that???? Oh well. At home it's supposed to be in the 40's all weekend so I will try to venture out and get the onions and strawberries in the ground.

You girls who are still covered in snow, and still have frozen ground, I really feel for you. I've been anxious to get in my garden since Christmas!! I'm going to have to put up a green house this year to keep myself from going insane next winter. Cold frames at the very least.

UGH! I can't wait to build some raised beds of my own this spring! We still have 6+ inches of snow...and more falling! I've been making my lists though :) Enjoy your gardens!
