Fixed my cousin's computer. I hope that is the last of my distractions for a while because I have crafting to do!

The hat box was really beautiful! I have been spinning yarn. Its a new addition to my crafts fair offerings this year. I also have a warp on my loom that I keep ignoring,I really need to work on that. Time to redo the tie-up pattern and start anew. I am looking for a used drum carder is anyone knows of one that isn't too expensive, I will give it a really good home.

The bunny basket is really cute. And I love the aprons. I think I need one of those.
Here's my latest. I made a board game for a friend that I went to visit. It's wood, all the holes were drilled out to receive the marbles, and it has a drawer for storage.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I cannot master those things that I have not tried.

Well all that I have read and seen, they say you could add vinegar in it but it wasn't nessary. But they say you don't need to add vinegar do that Kool aid has acid in it. This is what sets it. Hope so..because it is already done and drying. No this is not my sheep. It is someone sheep:) I had a blast doing this today. Now I'm so excited about spinning it up. I will post it when done. Deb

Making an afgan/shawl...just the right size to throw over your lap and legs, or to throw over your shoulders.
These are my first ever Granny-Squares. Had to watch a tutorial 3 times before I got it. I am not as use to crocheting as I am knitting. So, 3 down and 125 more to go. But it will be fun!
Debra...wow, love the wool colors! How fun!
Kristiana...your key chains are so cute!
Phyllis...love your Aggrevation Board! One of my all time favorite board games.
Have a great weekend girls!

A couple of new mitts. The pink one is made a a really stretchy yarn. I had no idea who made it but Bunny, bless our yarn guru, gave me a couple of place to look for more.

Debra, Love the Kool-aid dying... so cool. I wanted to learn spinning a long time ago, but couldn't afford the equipment. I do so many other things just don't need another to keep me busy.
Cherime as usual love the mitts. Maybe some day I'll give it a try. I'm working on knitting a rose.. not something I'll make for sale. I'm in it for over 5 hours so far.
Peggy, love the granny squares. Hope you can check out the link I gave you on our other thread. I have lots more if you ever need ideas. Just let me know.
I picked out fabric for more aprons yesterday. I've decided to just line them instead of making them reversible. It will cut down on the time to put them together big time. I figure I can't charge much more for a reversible apron. Maybe someday I'll have some pictures. I'm using some of my "off" fabrics. Fabrics I don't really like all that much. I have this theory. If I think it is really ugly, or won't sell... that's what sells. The cool stuff... just sits. I have actually tested it and it works. I had a craft show one time and got tired of everyone buying the simple stuff for lots of money. So I took this tired dusty moss wreath I had had hanging in my house and glued tiny teddy bears and some other really funky old stuff to it. guess what sold first. I even put a ridiculous price on it... no questions asked. So I figure if I use fabric I don't like and want to get rid of..do the opposite of what I think is cool.. It will sell. Sad but true.

As always . . . GORGEOUS THINGS!!!!
Bunny, I know what you mean . . . I had a garden hat I had used to decorate a room for a short while. Decided to clean it, add a few more decorations and sell it . . . could have sold more.
Wishing you the best with your aprons . . . as in our email conversations. I'm busy making mine and selling them here and there and getting ready for Farmers Market.
Hope you have some pleasant surprises!! CJ

I've been working on train cases . . .gluing and decoupaging.
This first case is one for my daughter. The inside was in terrible shape with lining, etc. ripped out and was very UGLY!!! That goes for the bottom and the lid. So I tore/ripped out anything that was left and lined it with upholstery weight fabric, lace around the top edge of the bottom. The piece in the bottom has a quilted back and is removable so that it can be washed if there is anything spilled in there. The lid had to have a new mirror with a padded back and trimmed with lace and ribbon. Anyway, this was quite the project and I'm pleased with the result. I hope my daughter is!
This case is one I got from "katmom" and it was in EXCELLENT condition inside and outside. This is a wonderful case with pockets on all sides and had the mirror. But I wanted to "cutesify" it some so I decoupaged different pieces of lace on the lid. The floral applique with the dark green is something very antique that was in things from my mother-in-law. Added a few ribbon flowers and ribbon. I'm happy with this too. For now, I'm just doing the lid . . . I may do the sides as well at some point.
Thanks for letting me share! CJ

Bunny, I know that one. Funny part is that things that I think are cool are usually bought by other vendors. The stuff I think has no chance goes right away. those mitts are really trial and error Just start with a chain that goes around your hand at it's widest part, join the chain and experiment from there. Great Ceejay. That looks really good.
