Karrieann, this rosary is beautiful. Are those beads? or round semi-circles? I am so sure that your grandmother will be so pleased. What a precious personal gift.

I'm trying to clean the house in between baby Sophie napping :) Other than that I have a shawl that I'm working on in spurts.

Karieann...you do such lovely tatting...I know your Grandma is going to love that!!!! What a special gift!
Carmen...can you put a picture of the felt mug (?) mug on here. You have me very curious. I can't really visualize your description of it.
Today I haven't started working on anything yet. Just getting myself moving mostly! LOL

Karrieann...That is stunning...you are the tatting queen!
Today I've been re-organizing, cleaning and clutter busting when I want to be sewing....*sigh*
Thinking of painting my pantry and kitchen and soft butter yellow =) It would be so cheery to cook in then, I'm tired of the tatty looking wallpaper that I have now and I hate hanging wall paper!

Quilting class was wonderful last night! Last week I was so nervous. I couldn't get anything right. But last night went so much better. Amazing what happens when you make yourself calm down and relax. Huh?! So anyhoo last night we made some 4 patch blocks and in a little bit I'm getting ready to go sew it up with my solid block to make a 9 patch. Ooooo I'm so happy to be doing something other than working on a house!

I am finishing up my ATC's & Christmas tags for the swaps here at the farm & also hope to work on a scarf I am making. The weather is so beautiful though I think I may go out & do some leaf raking!

Annika, my kitchen is a soft butter yellow (so is my dining, room, living room, hallway). I find the color so soothing. It's warm enough in the winter and cheerful in the summer. |

I finally got the hang of posting photos, so...here they come! It's so easy with the new icon. These are some items I've been working on the past few months. This is a reversible apron I made with just 2 yards of fabric. Dianne in the Hudson Valley

Here's an apron I made for my daughter's friend. It's from a free pattern online at joann.com. I altered it a bit. Dianne in the Hudson Valley

I love the aprons, one can never have too many. If my granny were alive today, she would go crazy over them. Great job! I'm working on mug rugs from the McCall's quilting nov/dec 2010 issue. I have 12 cut out to give as small gifts with a hot chocolate mix for Christmas. I will include a red coffee mug. Carmen MJFG #1443

Diane, the apron and laptop case are so cute! I don't really sew at all, except for very minor mending projects! I have been working on my crochet projects for Christmas though! I'm about halfway done with my Italy blanket for my Nana, and almost halfway done with a scarf. God's Blessings, Megan aka Loretta Rae

I'm working on an old-time crochet teddy bear, have a baby blanket in the works for a back up baby shower gift. But now that I've seen the market bags made of upcycled baling twine in the new MJF, I'm re-inspired to get going with one of those! I was going to make rugs and such from it, saved it all last winter. You can see the picture of my baling twine "pumpkin head" on my blog. The bowl looks quick...I'll go grab some more twine from the bucket by the haystack! :)

I got to spend the ENTIRE day sewing! I feel so decadant! :) I made 2 Christmas stockings (for the stuffed stocking swap) and 3 reversible aprons. Can't post pictures right now because I don't want to spoil the surprise! I LOVE when I get to sew all day.
