                      | Grace, boot bracelets, what a cute idea. Don't wear boots much here in FL, mostly flip flops. LOL Linda, that quilt is amazing! Today I hope to finish a BB8 blanket I've been working on for a birthday gift.

                      | ok, today I finished up one of my UFO's, a scrap quilt, and I also finished up another round loom knitted hat... I 'knitted' a total of 4 kid sized hats and 1 adult hat in the Navy/lime green color (Seattle Seahawks colors)...

.jpg?v 49027945) (posted on the Finish your UFOs thread)

I find that the thicker the yarn the warmer and durable the hats are.

this one I made a bit longer so you can wear it with a rolled brim or cuffed...

Well now to get busy on my next project,,, a small baby afghan that I started 4-5 months ago,,,, yep,,, always got a UFO or 10 waiting to be picked up and completed... lol!

                      | Grace, love the quilt and hats. They are beautiful. BB-8 is a Star Wars character, droid, from the newest movie. You don't have to be a kid to like BB-8. We have a nightlight of him in our living room! LOL He's like R2D2,if you know who he is. ;)

                      | Linda, love the quilt, how fun!
Judy, great blanket and pillow case.

Grace , I did not scroll down far enough to see the hats, I was so distracted by the quilt! Cute hats.

                      | Wow, everyone was super busy over the weekend! Everything looks so great. Grace, your hats look really warm. They will be nice for winter.

I finished another pair of my crochet slipper shoes for another friend and then started some more crochet hot pads. I don't think I will complete my crochet list before the baby comes but every stitch I complete is one step closer!

                      | Boot bracelets, blankets and pillowcases (I have to get started on mine for Christmas). Grace, your scrappy quilt is so pretty. I know I am saving those strips for something. And, I haven't used my looms yet. Your project is encouraging! I have some really soft yarn to try it with.
Today, I will complete at least 3 of the bowl holders. (back to those for quick gifts). I want to add them to a box for my grand daughter and our great gd to get into the mail. Using some of those swapped 10" squares, of course.

                      | Judith,,, I luv the looms,,, easy peasy... and I find that using thick soft yarn is my fav... also by combining 2 yarns (like the blu/grn) works great in giving a thicker feel....

                      | Been busy today, but did manage to get a Christmas gift done! I give my supervisor, who loves to bake, a bottle of homemade vanilla every year. Bought a book on wrapping with cloth instead of paper, so I try to make some of these reusable wraps for Christmas gifts. Judith, I've been thinking of making some bowl holders too, Post some pictures, I'd love to see yours!

                      | Judy, thats a great idea to use cloth instead of paper. I would have never thought of that and I like the look it creates better. Your supervisor will love it!

                      | Christy, I bet your new granddaughter will love having her dolls dressed just like her. That way it's still getting used even if it's too small. It really cute!
Judy, I better pass at the moment. I don't have a sewing machine yet and I'm afraid I'll lose the information before I need it!
