                      | Sherone - Totally adorable!!!
99% finished with Hot Air Balloon ornament meant as Christmas gift this year. But when I stuffed it the "seams" between the colors of the balloon sections pulled apart a bit. Will have to look over my crafting doo dads to see what I might use to disguise it. Might do some cording or just some glitter squeezed out of a tube - like Stickles.

                      | Shrone, How cute are those! I want to do something in Teal for my candy bowls. There's a movement to have teal bowl or pumpkin to let parents know the treat is kid friendly. It's for those children that have allergies, nuts or, like my grandson, just can't handle sugar etc. Jamie, I've got a soft spot for hot air balloons! That's adorable!

                      | Sherone, those are super cute! Love Halloween decorations!
Jamie, you can never go wrong with glitter! Glitter is my favorite color. It always adds something special. And just think how the Christmas lights will bounce off of the glitter!

                      | ok,,, as I have mentioned before,,, I belong to a group up here in the mountains, called "Covers of Love".. we meet up once a month to work on assorted items for Hospice, Veterans, Social Services (child protection), shut-in's, shelters, etc ... We make sew/crochet/knit blankets & lap quilts as well as crochet/knit caps and shawls...for those in need.
I make simple easy peasy quick quilts that I can get completed in an evening or two...
Here are the 3 I just finished..,

  each quilt is 36 x 36, one is 42 x 42

the colors don't show well,,, but it really is a cute combination... just ask my little Ginger....

I also like to sew a little pocket on the back side so I can tuck in a sweet note for the recipient,,,

I have one more on my sewing table,,, I ran out of batting...

  I love using up scraps...
 YeeHaw!
Well,,, I really should get back to my UFO's now that these are finished...

                      | Grace...I love patch quilts. The perfect way to use up those scraps. Yours are lovely
CJ....Good idea on the Christmas boots...got an idea for the saying?

Krista, Judy, Jaime, Kelly....thanks for the compliments. This was a fun, easy project that I did in an evening. I bought the kit a cute copy center in Payson, UT. It's about a 2 hour drive from my house, but totally worth it. They have these kinds of kits for every holiday imaginable. I was in Crafters Nervona!

Good luck with your badge, Daizy.

                      | I also finished a (another) rad rug last nite... forgot to get a photo.. but it now rests on the floor of my guest bathroom.. Rag rugs are so easy peasy to make.. What takes the longest amount of time is the washing/drying,, stripping (rug, not me! lol!)and knotting,, after that I sit in front of the 'idiot box' and crochet my rugs...
ok, try as I might,,, I can't get a decent photo of my rug... but the colors are various med to light browns and tans..

                      | Nice rug, Grace! Daughter is trying to quit smoking. 7 weeks smoke free now! She wants to braid a rug. I think crocheting them would be an easier start for her. Actually, we are going to try starting with table mats to see if we can stick to it. I'm excited to do something together. She will be 44 in Nov....my baby. lol

                      | Wow, what a lucky grandson! Theresa it is awesome.
Krista, those hot pads came out really nice. Colors good!

Grace, nice rug. My grandmother crocheted a room size rug that was at least 12 feet around. She had to sit on the floor to finish it. Whew! I think that was the last one she tackled. Literally! LOL!

 Love everyone's creations.

                      | I love seeing what everyone is doing. Those witches shoes are great, Sherone. Love the costume and potholders. Grace your quilts are a wonderful project.
I'll post some pics here soon. Most of mine are posted in the UFO, finished 10" squares projects, or BOM threads here in the Stitching and Crafting Room. I'd love to have some of you join us in the 10" squares swaps or in the monthly BOM.
