Alicia, I forgot to tell you how much I admire those mugrugs! Can't wait to figure out how to embroider on my machine. That is the reason I got it. I'm still just mastering normal stitching. sigh.

Help me please. I bought a 1950s metal church ice tea/water container with spigot. It probably holds about 3/4 gallon of liquid. It is all there, except the handle is missing on the lid. The lid is about 10-12 inches across. It has two holes on the top for a handle to be screwed on. Please give me some creative ideas what to put on as a handle. I am going to put this in the camper and fill it with water outside the camper for people to wash their hands instead of always going in the camper and using the sinks. This will really be handy for the grandkids. I would like it a bit funky or use a repurposed item.

will a drawer handle work?

Just finished my dear granddaughter's Easter dress and a doily for her nightstand. Don't know how she will feel about the doily as she is only 5 years old, but it is in her favorite colors.

I finished these booties over the weekend for a friend who is delivering her new baby boy today!
They are crocheted in size 10 crochet thread,I hope the roses don't make them too girly for a newborn baby boy.

Mel, that is beautiful. Did it take a long time? If it were me, it would probably take forever.

Just finished these little guys for my grandson.

A friend of mine has an embroidery machine and did the embroidery on it then I finished the little monsters.

Thanks Marie and Mel. I think my grandson will love them. They are fun to make. I know what you mean about spending weeks on an afghan. I've had them take me forever to finish. But you are correct..... well worth the effort!

Can you believe I've made it through 2 kids, 7 gkids and, never made a bib?! I used scraps from the pillowcases I made for the gkids to make these for our 2 g-gdaughters. I have 8 cut out. Finished 4 yesterday. One went home on the oldest yesterday! I found this pattern free download on the internet (PurlSoho). I will enlarge the pattern today as the older girl is growing so fast! They will fit the 3 mo. old for awhile.

I am working on a crocheted bedspread. I am using Mary Janes hexagon pattern in the stitching room book. I am halfway there. I also just finished a cowl collar for my sister.
I love to be busy with my hands. It is a great way to be.
