Hello,
Last week I was at St. Vinnie's and they had half price doll day. Of course I did not go to that area of the store. But as my luck would have it someone must have picked her up and at the last moment decided she would stay behind. You guessed it she cried out Betty Jo take me home. I ignored her. Betty Jo take me home. I promise to behave and treat my sisters with respect. I picked her up and looked her over but then came to my senses. Put her back in the doll area. Betty JO!!!! PLEASE TAKE ME HOME!!! Yep, I am the proud new owner of another Saucy Walker. About 2 years ago I rescued a box of dolls who cried out to me at a rummage sale. Not to long after that my mother gave me her old dolls. I had to say until them I really was not a doll person. Give me a wrench, kitchen appliance, sewing machine, rototiller, not a doll!! So my dilemma is where do I get wigs or how do I wash their hair, their faces, need a new voice box, ect... I am not a doll repairer but can not afford to send her or the others away to the hospital to get them refreshed. So since I have a bunch of time on my hands I thought I would try myself. If anyone has any suggestions on where to get supplies to freshen them up I would love it. So would my dolls. P.S. I think they are tired of being stored in the attic as I can sometimes here them talking and plotting their escape.
