a ready made item, a kit or a pattern? Example: you see a really cute apron, would you want to purchase it finished, buy a kit to complete on your own or simply buy the pattern to use your own fabrics etc.
Since reopening my webstore, it is one of those questions I wrestle with . . . I want to offer what folks are looking for. Many of you will fall into each category on some items, however, in general you know how you usually shop. For me, patterns are purchased most, kits next and finally a finished product.

Well I would be one of those if it is handmade I would buy the completed item first if it was not handmade I'd probably buy the pattern. Blessings,Karen

Same for me as Karen's comment. I will buy it made if it is made by hand and then it helps two people! Good luck with your webstore. I am going to go and visit your sites now.
Nice website! I like that you had made things and a kit item too. perhaps a mix is the best solution.

I usually buy the pattern first. I hardly ever purchase a kit, only occassionally. I like to chose the materials myself. Then if the homemade is to my choice in fabric, I may purchase it. |

I would probably buy the finished product, again as long as it was hand made. Second choice would be the pattern, and last choice would be a kit unless I could choose the fabric to be put into the kit.

I would always buy the pattern. I don't think I have ever purchased a kit for anything. I am really bad about not buying a finished product, I always just say to myself "I could make that myself". so I won't buy anything already made.

It would depend on the fabric and the price as to whether I would buy it ready made, but I agree with the other girls . . . HANDMADE!!!!
I'm also very inclined, if I want to seriously enough, go home and make my own pattern.
I have never bought a kit . . . probably wouldn't. But I do know that those would be great for some folks. CJ

Hi Jo! I'd almost always purchase the pattern, unless I was in a time crunch or didn't feel I could make it...then I'd buy the finished handmade item! I've always loved what you do...keep doing it! :-)
