Who is ready for Spring and...why? Winter has been so long this year. Seems as if one snow hasn't melted until another comes and it has been soooo...cold here this year. I am so ready for warmth and sunshine. My Easter flowers are peeping through the snow and the birds are singing...therefore...it can't be much longer until Winter will just be a memory...

Have a blessed week!

I am ready for spring because MN winters are way too long and about the end of Feb beginning of March, we are at each others throats. There is SOOOO much to do outside in spring, summer, and fall...there are times we don't come inside to eat or sleep!! Who needs a house? :) Not so in the winter. Even the family going out to chop wood or hike in the woods or sled or anything like that isn't the same kind of energy burn as the rest of the years outside fun is. I'm itching to start projects outside but its hard to do much when the ground is still frozen...and will be for quite awhile still!! I like hearing about everyone else's warmups, though. Makes me smile :)

I am so ready for spring! I want to dig in the DIRT not the mud. I am so tired of being bone-chillin' cold anymore. It's not fun getting old. I can't seem to get warm lately. Like a little old lady. But I do know spring is right around the corner. Even though we may get more snow and lots more cold. It's supposed to be in the 20's at night this whole week. Wah! I want my animals to be happy, too. Although me and the cows had a talk yeaterday about the flies and bugs when it gets hot. They like the cooler weather I think. Not so much the wet muddy muck, but the coolness. The goats hate it.

So that's why. Kris

I don't go out much when it is bad.
I had to go out with hubby this past week because we had to sign some papers at the bank.
First time I had been out in a long time.
Sorta felt funny. lol
I usually take Mom to do her errands every Tues. but the roads and the roads at the farm to icy, hug sheila

I cannot begin to tell you how ready I am for spring! I am so tired of ice, dirty snow, and most of all, MUD. Too cold and windy out to do anything at all; it is just depressing. I want to open my windows and let the fresh air in and get out of long underwear and baggy sweatshirts!

Boy, add me to the list. I love spring but I am especially anxious this year as we have had one of the greyest winters on record. If for no other reason this year, I cant wait to see the sun.

Is there anybody here who would say NO? With daily thaws, it's mud season here and I'm getting so tired of mopping everytime the dogs come back in. To say nothing of the fact that our first killing frost seemed to be a couple of years ago. Yes, please, I'll take a dose of springtime!

The morning breeze has secrets to tell you. Do not go back to sleep.

I love watching the leaves unfold on the trees. I took pictures once every monday for 3 months to show my children the change. It was so cool!

It's all good!

I am ! I was ready for spring on the last day of fall.

Oh, yeah. I am so ready for spring. I mean, I'm a Southern girl, born and bred, and this super cold, complete with a snow showing and an almost constant supply of rain isn't normal! I'm tired of my feet being cold, slogging through the mud in colder rubber boots, and I NEED SUN!!!!! And, I really need a good dose of dirt. Garden style. I do have my lettuce and carrots planted, but that just wasn't enough. I'm counting the days!

Add me to the list as well! I feel guilty even complaining about the snow/ice we've had here in Oklahoma this year as I know so many of you are still snowed in under lots of snow, but I am so tired of being cold and wet! And getting seed catalogues in the mail isn't helping the spring fever any, lol. Bring on spring!

I am ready. Bring on Spring. I need to play in the dirt under the sun! I want to smell the earth and see the new buds peeking their little heads up to say 'hello'.

My feet are cold, my hands are cold but thoughts of an approaching spring warm my heart.
