I just registered for free with this site-it's for kids (and adults) who want to learn an instrument. Has leads to music stores & music teachers in your area. http://www.wannaplaymusic.com

Also for kids in school,there's "schooljamUSA" and "Music Monday" Celebrate this May 3rd by playing an instrument at home,in public,out with friends,etc. Do see this site for more info.
