hey ladies,
I'm looking to fill a 1ft diameter flower pot with wheat. The plan is to learn how to grow it for a time in my life when I have more than a small porch and, if I'm going to grow soemthing out there, it might as well be useful!
so, my question is, does anyone have just a teeny bit of wheat seeds they'd be willing to share? I can barter too, but don't have money for lots of bulky postage, especially since an envelope of seeds would ship so cheaply!
I also have no clue on how to grow them :) I'm in southern california and could give the plants partial sun, but it'll be terribly hot so the afternoon sun they would get should be enough? I dunno.
I just want to learn! And then learn how to harvest them and grind it and what it's like to cook with (even if I only get a little 1/2 loaf :) )
oh i'm excited! any seed or advise sharers out there?
