It's hard to believe that Baby Charlie is already a week old! He is such a sweet tempered baby.
I took him into for his check up with the pediatrician. She said he is doing great. Nice and alert, jaundice is gone, and everything over all is wonderful.
However, she has scheduled an appt for him with an eye dr. His pediatrician says that when she was checking his eyes,she isn't sure, but thinks she saw the beginning of a cataract on his right eye. She wasn't sure if that is what it was, or if it was just broken blood vessels. So, to be on the safe side, we are getting it checked out.
Please pray that it is nothing but a passing birth happening. I know God has Him in His watchcare, and I appreciate any all prayers you would send on Baby Charlie's behalf.
We have an appt set for Thursday, but I'm not sure if it will be bumped due to the once again pending snow storm.

Very scary for the mom & dad. I'm praying everything goes well for the little guy. I'm sure everything will be fine.

Because of the snow dumpings around here, they bumped his appt until 9 tomorrow morning. Thank you for your prayers. Ill update as soon as I can tomorrow.

Sorry I haven't updated girls. I couldn't find this post.
We took Charlie to the eye doctors on Friday and it went great. The dr said that his eyes were clear and that more than likely it was broken blood vessels from delivery that the pediatrician saw. He said that he wants to see him back in a few month when his vision is clearer, but that he doesn't foresee any trouble then either.
PRAISE GOD!! I am so relieved and thankful that's all it was!!
