Oleta I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Hugs and prayers are on their way for you. We always wish to be the ones to go first. But everything is in Gods hands. And you son is with him now, you can rest in that knowledge. Take care sweetheart and if there is anything we can or you just need to talk, we'll be here for you.

Blessings, Brenda

Thanks, everyone, for your thoughtfulness and prayers, I'm rather new to this site, but just love it. Wheelersburg oh is close to the tri-state region of portsmouth oh, ashland ky, and huntington wva. I live about 7 miles from the Ohio river on 22 acres, not a farm but I grow lots of flowers, etc. and love tthe woods which most of my place is. I lived as a child a lot places, born in ill, lived in ky, kansas(mother was from there) ok ( father was from there) sc and here in ohio. I have one of Maryjane's books and just found her magazine and this site. I love looking at crafted items women have made years ago. How did they have the time? I collect hte cotton crocheted potholders that look like little brithces and dresses or circles, etc. among other items. Thanks again.

Brenda, where did you shop? I'd like a few more cute ideas! I'm going to fix up one for a girlfriend just to surprise her!

Oleta....OMG, I am sooooo sorry about your son!!!! I am your pincushion swap partner, Linda, from Indiana. I haven't been on here in a few days and just happened to see that you subscribe to the "egg carton" swap, like I do. I was so saddened, and shocked, when I read the news!!! I, too, am sending you big hugs and will keep you in my prayers.
