What type of heirloom seeds is everyone going to plant from this catalog? I might try to save some seeds this year if I can figure out how to do that.

It's a gorgeous catalog - wish I could buy everything that catches my eye but I'm going to have to be choosy and get my very favorite looking ones. Hard to choose....

I got my seeds from Bakers Creek!!! They just came today! Tomatoes- 3 different kinds, lettuce mix, beans, peas, 3 different squashes, melon, watermelon, radishes, popcorn, cumcumbers, basil, pumpkins, and a free packet of carrots! Love their envelopes, each one has a quote on it... and clear directions on the back. I will be saving seeds for sure, but anytime I need to order it will be from them! :) I forgot to say, I decided to order from them because of who they are and what they believe in... but my husband saw their catalog and their sweet little girl and said "I'm buying my seeds from that little girl"! Must be nice! I have ordered from them several years in a row, and didn't get a catalog this year. I even requested one before Christmas....still haven't gotten it. Looks like I'll be ordering from seed savers or another company.

Yikes! Thanks Rene' for the heads up! I am not the best gardener by any means, so it will be interesting! I figure though that the seeds don't cost much, and this year is going to be an experimental year as I have never gardened with heirloom seeds before.... my dad had always been an avid gardener, until he moved to a gated community where he can't garden, but he will help me I'm sure! I just got Lynn's book out of the library, just this afternoon! I got it to read for the Heirlooms Forever merit badge, and have been looking it over, now I want to buy it for myself it looks so good! I will be journaling my garden this year, so will definitely let you all know how it turns out!

I just sent my order in last night. Isn't their catalog wonderful!?? I love their seeds too and have ordered them for a couple years from them. Always fun new heirlooms to try.

I placed my order on Sunday. I can't wait for my seeds to come in. This is my first time with them & I'm really hoping for a beautiful show of flowers this summer.

I got a catalog from them last year and figured that I'd be on a mailing list for this spring too...I guess I'll have to drop over there and order a new one. I love dreaming about a garden grown from their seeds!
