Love Maxine! The original Spunky Old Broad. She should be our mascot for Spunky Old Broad month. :D

I love it! Maxine tells it like it is. Yes, she would be the best mascot for Spunky Old Broad month!

Linda,

First I have to say that I love, love Maxine...she's the only one in this country who seems to say things just the way they are!!

I couldn't resist commenting on the one about the US citizen caught crossing into Mexico......(with passport) hehehe

And that's no joke especially concerning affordable vision, dental and health care!!! My sister and her husband are full time RVer's and that huge segment of our society as I refer to them have found loop holes and angles to find affordable and reliable services.....these clinics are just across the US border in Mexico and all the doctors are educated in the United States.

Everything averages about 65-75% less expensive for the same thing we can't afford in the USA. An example: two pair of progressive lense eyewear (frames, lenses, exam) $325, same thing in the USA around $900.
