Does anyone have any vintage child's kitchen stuff laying around they wish to get rid of? I just purchased a 50's miniature stove and would like to get a muffin pan and cookie sheet to display on it. I am just looking for a couple of pieces. I would be happy to pay you for them. Let me know.

I have the same little stove! Isn't it cute? I picked it up probably 15 years ago for 50 cents at a garage sale. My kitchen is full of vintage gadgets that I have collected forever. Putting a little cookie sheet or muffin pan on it is a great idea. If I come across anything like that in my flea market travels I will pick them up for you. I love the things you have displayed on your shelf.

You know, I could be wrong, (I am by no means an expert on antiques, I just research them as a hobby and watch the Antiques Roadshow) but I don't think your little stove is meant to be a toy - I think it is a sales sample.....
They used to make little miniatures of appliances for salesmen and stores, and if you wanted to buy it, you ordered it from their catalog, instead of keeping the appliances in stock at the store; etc.
It is cute, though. And there is nothing that says you can't use it as a toy; it just might not have been it's original purpose. Anyway..................

Thank you Barbara. I brought it home with me from Oklahoma while antique shopping. It was $12. I just saw one at our local flea market for $78. The one at the flea market was in really good condition, however, mine you can tell has been played with. I just love it!!!
