Hey, I just had to join because you Farmgirls are ultra-interesting to me, and I could use company like y'all!

A little about me: I love to work with my hands, go crazy if I can't use creativity, love to garden (herbs, vegetables, shrubs, flowers) more outdoors than indoors (I'm working on that), enjoy hiking and camping, love love love to eat and do wholesome homecooking, crave fresh air and the changing seasons. I love homemaking and taking care of my two little boys and my husband of almost 9 years. I am about to begin my second trimester of pregnancy with Baby #3 due at pumpkin time. Family is very important to me.

(I do not live on a farm, just in rural community that's growing way too fast. . . hold onto your farmlands!)

Thanks for letting me join the forum!
Emily

Hello Emily,
Welcome! Family is the greatess gift we can share with the world. Enjoy your little ones as they grow to fast and leave the nest. My 5 have flown the coup with the last one leaving about 4 weeks ago. I am a newlywed. My hubby and I are building a new home in the country. We live in the middle of a small town right now. I also love the outdoors, camping, hiking, gardening, and keeping my hands busy. I was walking my gardens today and the early spring flowers are pushing their way through the ground. Oh how I love Spring. WELCOME!!!!!

Pray for our troops to come home safe and soon.
Enjoying the road to the simple life :>)

Welcome Emily!!! It is so fun to have a new farmgirl! You sound like you are going to fit right in and be one of us right away...congrats on the new "pumpkin". Family is one thing that I think we all have in common...the importance of it anyway. I have 7 kids...3 grown boys and 4 younger ones (one 11 year old and three 9 year olds) at home now.
I don't have a "real " farm either...but a mini farm in a mini town in the middle of Utah.
I am sure glad you found us!!

Welcome Emily! My youngest daughter is an Emily. We have 3 girls 2 still at home. Our youngest is 14 and a freshman in highschool. It does indeed go quickly.
I don't live on a farm either, just a double lot in town. I love gardening too, so a lot of the backyard is being turned into my own little oasis.
Glad you have joined us. I look forward to "Pumpkin time" Julia V.

Hello Emily - from your posts, I see you must love to bake! Welcome and look forward to hearing more about you.

I love North Carolina - who doesn't? And I understand what you mean when you say it is growing too fast. We go there at least once a year and stay in a cabin. Not as far north as you, though. Glad to have you here!

Peace

Welcome Emily!! First of all, congrats on baby #3. I have a lot in common with you, I love to garden, cook, camp, hike, etc. Basically anything I can do outside will keep me happy. I have 2 small girls ages 8 and 4 that also keep me very busy. We just moved to our new home that sits on 40 acres. We actually own only 2 but it's more than we've owned before and the rest of the acreage belongs to my parents so I kinda call it 'mine' or 'ours'. Glad you found us and look forward to hearing more from you!!
