Can't help ya from california, but, as far as I'm concerned, ya'll picked the best milk cow around. My girls name is "Molly Moo Cow".

Hey Linda...you probably already thought of this but--here's a link to the National Breeders Association for Brown Swiss Cattle. According to this, not many breeders of the cow seem to go below the mason dixon line, but maybe if you contact one of them, they can refer you to folks that might have bought their animals, who live closer to you.
