Good morning!! I am finally back on my feet and wanted to say Hello to all my Farmgirl Sisters!!!! After months of being laid up and stressing over the swaps I owe to several, I am happy to report that life is returning to normal.
For all of you I owe a swap, it is either on it's way tomorrow or will be by the end of next week. I am so sorry that I was not able to follow through on time. . . I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me.
To those of you who stayed in touch, Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!! There were so many long depressing days and to hear from you just lifted my spirits in a way I simply cannot express. . . You are Angels on Earth for sure!!!!
For those wondering, I started back to work on the 18th of this month and to be honest, felt like a stranger in my own studio. Needed to clean everything, who knew so much dust could settle in such a small space. LOL! It felt wonderful to be back at the sewing machine.
Like an old friend you have not connected with in quite some time. The wonderful familiar sound is music to my ears. All the fabrics just beg to be used in creating something wonderful. Needless to say,
I am back and so very happy!
While being laid up, one tends to look back on their life. . pondering many thoughts and decisions made. The one thing that kept me looking forward was here, among women who truly make a difference every day. To MaryJane, you are such an inspiration, a guiding light that many seek to find their way. With such simple advise, a guiding hand and the "can do" spirit. . . I wanted to take this moment to simply say Thank you for being YOU!!!
Through all that has happened I have set a new direction with my life. Following my heart, lending a hand more often to those in need, staying in touch with handwritten letters to family and friends and listening more, speaking less. My pondering showed me that I was not being my authentic self. That truly was upsetting at first, then the realization that "well, now you know, what are you going to do about it" came to mind. So my new journey begins. . my authentic life started and I will continue life's exciting journey being true to who I am.
Looking forward to catching up with all of you!!

You are so right!! The problem for me, I would take on things that I really did not want to do. . . which lead to my injury. So, stepping up to the plate and saying No, as hard as it is to do, will keep me healthy and happy.
I should have listened to all of you when the advise was offered a while ago! Listening now!! LOL!!
