I recently bought a bag of fiber scraps someone was selling and ever since it got here I've been finding more and more neat stuff in the bag and dreaming up new ways to use it. It got me to thinking . . . I've got a pile of fiber scraps just like this from carding and while it doesn't look particularly appealing to me because I'm used to it, to someone else it might be what dreams are made of.

So, I thought I'd propose a fiber scrap round robin. Here's how it would work. Everyone who signs up will pack up a box (we'll determine which of the flat rate boxes to use, but one of the smaller ones) and ship it to someone else. So everyone will ship out one box and receive one box in return. Anyone game?

Hi Robin! Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about. You can use carding scraps (the "treasure" you pull off the small drum - I know some people say never to use that, but in art yarn and felting it's invaluable), bits of yarns, scraps of roving or washed fleece. Whatever you have; anything fiber related.

Hopefully we'll get some other people to sign up too, but if not we can swap between ourselves. :^)
