He had a total Knee and then 6 weeks later got so ill. His leg was so red and he was shaking, 103 fever and fluid running out of his leg. He was admitted immediately and did surgery to remove all the necrosed tissue. The bacteria grew out into an E Coli.
Anyway, in the bathroom was posted a great saying. Here it is...
Service has a life of its own. A single act of kindness may have a long trajectory and touch those we will never meet or see. Something that we casually offer may move though a web of connection far beyond ourselves to have effects that we may have never imagined. - Rachel Naomi Remen
I am praying for your Dad and you, Bernadine. Keep us posted. Marly

Hope your Dad gets better soon. Mine had a bad time a couple of years ago so I kinda understand how it is.
I loved the saying sort of reminds me of "Pay it Forward".
Sorry to hear about your dad. Hope that all is going better. It is hard to watch someone that we love hurt but, hang in there and know that I am sending you hugs and prayers.
Hope by this time your dad has recovered from the infection and is doing much better. I'm sure all the kind thoughts and prayers helped alot.

So sorry to hear about your Dad! Sending healing thoughts & prayers your way. The quote is wonderful. Remember to nurture yourself too,at this time. I've been thru similar with my mom,and know how emotionally taxing times like this can be.
