I have been wanting to learn to punch for a long time now. I went ahead an bought several skeins of wool/acrylic mix and a need punch, monkscloth etc, and I can't make it work. It's frusterating the snot out of me. Does anyone out there want this stuff? I have no idea of what to barter or trade. I can't even tell you how much I have invested in it. All I know is that something that looks so simple is giving me gray hair and obviously I'm not meant to learn it. Let me know if you're interested in it.

Sounds interesting. Have you watched tutorials on youtube for it?

Hey ladies! I really enjoy doing punchneedle, am working on a neat heart-in-hand folk art piece right now. My friend Sally's site has tons of info on both punchneedle and rughooking, if anyone is interested in learning more! She is a wealth of information, so feel free to email with any questions, too! Sally's site: http://www.amherst-antiques-folkart.com/PunchNeedle.htm
I'm not a "pro" like Sally, but I'm willing to share what works best for me, etc. too! Whoever ends up with the punchneedle supplies...enjoy! (it's a neat change from regular embroidery!)
