ok, what do you do when you find a 'Bread warmer' at the Thrift????
Why you turn it into a mini sewing tote....and I would have loved to have posted a pic here but photobucket is down for maintnance so you'll have to go to my blog to see it.
What a great day, met up with kpaint-Karen & Sher for a day of Thrifting. Also met up with DairyPrincess for lunch...Firemama would have joined us but that 4-letter word..."work" got in the way...maybe next time! lol!
Anyways, we ended the day with my Jeep loaded to the gills with 'fantastic stuff' that we just had to have! lol!

Just another Farm Girl day in Paradise....

Grace, what a "purrfect" cat bed-tote! That's so cute. Looks like you got some really good stuff. I love the blender. How come I never find really good stuff here?

I love your blog Grace. Its just like our house. Its inevitable that once I get the laundry folded, a cat will come and lay on the clothes in the basket. Ive stopped fighting it, people just think we own a lot of angora...I hope.

Tina, blogging is fairly easy and you can always tweak your sttings as time goes on to make it more user friendly for you. so go give it a try. Show No Fear! :>)

I found china saucers to use for future crafting projects as well as another Train Case and hard sided suite case to decopage.....come on Spring! I need the warm weather to paint & podge! lol!

But the best part of the day was spending it with wonderful friends....

Back at you, Grace. Indeed it is wonderful to spend the day with friends, farmgirl, of course. :D You did it again, of course, made me spend too much! Well, I guess not too much but I sure got a lot of stuff. A think my fav find was the little metal top for my grandson and the quilting safety pins! Things I needed, right? Oh, and the vintage fabric, how could I forget. I will try and post some of that in my etsy this weekend.

Ok, so while out Thrifting the other day I came across another Bread Warmer, this one had a solid(not see-thru) lid...$2.99...but it was beat to bupkis and so I passed on it....
Hmmm, the more I think about these little gems the more ideas I think of uses for them...besides using as a little sewing tote...how about a small jewelery case....a portable yoyo stitching case....a storage case for small stuff in my trailer....and
ofcource lets not for get the ever so popular "chocolate stash" case....after all what hubby don't know is a good thing! lol! Hey, a gals gotta protect her chocolate stash! lol!

I love thrifting, but I will watch here to learn more about what to use finds for, besides the obvious.
