Emailed Brian to get me in, too!
Would love to join the soap swap, but I'm such a new soapmaker, my soap won't be ready to trade for a month!

Hey Brenda. I just tried to post on the hen house but it didn't go through. I haven't heard from Brian yet. Do you know what's going on on his end?

Well, I got in, sort of. I was able to post my member bio, but when I went to sign up for the soap swap, it said I did not have access! Huh?
I was looking at the date for the soap swap mailing, and my soap will be ready by then.
Should I email Brian and tell him what's wrong? Or is the posting set up so that you can't reply to it, and you have to email the info directly to the author of the post?

Just e-mailed Brian today. I'm very new to soap making, so don't have any recipes to share, but I'm excited to start learning.

My daughter will love your helpful tips. She's been bugging me to make our own soaps due to all my allergies, so now we will have a great support team to see us through. After, the support a farmgirl night is over, I will head on over and take a look. My henhouse is Sunshine Farmgirl Co-op.
Hugs, Marjean

I made peppermint candy soap today!! My house smells so good. I got this fragrance for Christmas but we love it so much I'm keeping it in my line all year long. The first batch I did plain because I didn't have any red colorant. I finally got some and today I swirled the soap with red. I also added shea and mango butter to my recipe. It's sitting all covered up "doing it's thing" and I can hardly wait to cut it to see how it turned out. I usually do oven process in the mold but decided I'm going to do this batch totally cold process and see how the soap is. I will take pictures after I cut it!

That's great we have a few gals signed up for the henhouse. The more the merrier!
Mmmm, your peppermint candy soap sounds so good, Kay. Funny you should say you like it all year long--we feel the same about candy cane ice cream at my house!
