OMG, 19 degrees, just thinking about makes my toes cold. While I was at work today, hubs made sure every thing was freezed protected, tightened down and ready for tonight. I just got inside and it is 41 in the animal barn, all of the heat lamps are, every animal is snuggled down for the night, even those tree roosting guineas went inside tonight. The goats are fluffly, and the puppies are nesting down in their heated kennels. I know, all of you northeren farmgirls are laughing at me, but this is South, I repeat South Texas, Gulf Coast area and this is just too darn cold for me and mine.

I know what you mean, Kathryn! It's just way too cold for this place. My husband even said... Something weird is going on! LOL!
BTW, you should join the Heart of Texas online group in the Henhouses... we have one especially for the gulf coast too! I'm trying to round up everybody!

You're not kidding! My toes have been cold all day. I am so not made for this type of weather....bring the hot summer back!
