We have virtual porch sitting, but it is cold out there right now. Come and join me by the fire until it warms up. I have my quilt throw I am hand quilting, and I promise some hot chocolate.....let's throw another log on and no need to knock, come right on in to my house......the porch light is on to help you up the steps.

MMM Nice, warm and cosy :) I will have a hot chocolate too please.

Here is it going to be a very VERY cold weekend! More snow is coming and the chill factor will be minus 15 Celcius bbbrrr. A lot of North Eastern wind so the snow might be blowing through the streets later on, yikes.
But it is good to sit next to the fire with some sweet Farm friends

Oh, that fire is so nice...all glowing and cracklin. I brought some fresh cinnamon rolls and some peppermint schnapps to add to the hot chocolate. I also brought a stack of seed catalogs and my crochet. I am almost finished crocheting this doggy sweater, what do you think, turtleneck or not?

I would love to come sit by the fireplace. Is it one of those big ole Cracker Barrel fireplaces where you can sit on the stone hearth? I'll bring a big checkers game and some warm gingerbread. Anyone want to play?

Come on down to Colorado, Tammy. It's a whopping 40 here! I think I'll break out the cut-offs and flippies. Really, I'll bring my soy chai latte and join you for some brownies.

Below, you will see my fireplace.....Kristin I wish it were a big ole cracker barrel type that was big enough to cook in....but pull up a chair. Hubby has split LOTS of wood this year, so it is warm and we can keep feeding it.

On my blog header you will see my porch and see that the light is on!

Excuse me, I am in the kitchen getting some popcorn popped!

Does anyone know how to knit? I'd love to learn if anyone would have the patience to teach me. I see a few nice rocking chairs by that wonderful cozy fireplace we could sit in. I do have some knitting needles and some wonderful yarns I got from Miss Diana and her fluffy llamas and goaties. I'll bring all this and some nice blueberry scones to munch on after all this good soup and beans we're having. Yummo!

I want to learn too. I am left-handed, and no one has ever been able to teach me. Any left-handed knitters by the fire?

Ooh, this is soooo warm and cozy. Shirley, I read once that if a right handed person wants to teach a left handed person to knit, they should sit facing each other and that way the leftie should be able to pick up how to knit.I have never tried it but it might be worth the effort.
