Does anyone have a simple, handmade idea for bridal shower favors? I sew, papercraft, embroider. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks!

I'm throwing a baby shower for my SIL in a couple months, and I found this really cute idea for favors

I just have to make them...they are so darn cute, and girly...but I'm sure you could change it up a bit to fit the theme of the party!
My SIL is having a baby girl...so, I'm going to pretty much copy these...I like them just the way they are!
Hope that helps!

Kerriann, You could also embroider the bride and grooms names on a fabric peice to make a pin using to brides colors.

Dianne - I made a bunch of pretzels like that for Christmas and they were a huge hit. Just FYI though, they took FOREVER, so make sure you set aside enough time. :)

I'm sort of facing the same thing for a Baby Shower coming up in April. I was thinking of making something to put in those cute little 1/4 pint jars then printing a label to go along with the theme of the shower. Too bad it's in April, I'd make strawberry Jam, but I won't know for sure whether or not the strawberries will be ready!

Sarah, We still have snow in April...no strawberries in sight! BTW...love your quote. I'm a Dylan fan too. Dianne

those pretzels are so cute. When i threw my sisters bridal shower... her color was purple so i bought purple plastic spoons and filled them with silver and purple hersheys kisses. I covered the spoon with toole so the kisses didnt fall out. I attached a label that said "a spoon full of kisses for a dear friend" Hope this helps.

Thanks, everyone. As the family must travel to Florida for the wedding, I've decided to do luggage tags as favors in the bride's colors. Dianne

I think that's a fantastic idea!!!

Just a thought, little travel toiletry kits would be neat. Maybe a little more expensive though.
