The Grand Daughters wanted to go to the thrift yesterday so I thought about it for about 2 seconds and we went. One of the things I got is this little candle screen.Looks real pretty in the evening when I light it.

Those grandkids can be something else can't they. I think I'm taking Lani tomorrow depending on when Giovanni leaves.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

but when the darkness sets in,
their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.

Oh Nancy Jo, that screen is beautiful. I probably have seen one and didn't know what it was.

I've had the 2 youngest grandboys here for the last 2 weeks and I think I will survive now. I took them home Thursday and their Mom brought them back to visit today--they just left. Early bedtime tonight. hahaha!!! MB

Nancy~I enjoyed your blog. I made one of those ceramic xmas trees ages ago, I don't have it anymore.
One of my co-workers was talki ng about one of these trees she picked up at a thrift, says she'll never
bother with another kind of tree again!!

Beautiful screen Nancy!! Is that a Fenton covered dish to the left of it?? Just wondering what color it is??!! Made me think, my grandma had a gold one. As for the ceramic Christmas trees, I saw one in an antique store today, price was $25.00!!

Thank you Debbie. Suzie, All the glass ware on my mantel is cranberry glass. The one to the left you are asking about is called coin glass, which I got about 40 years ago as a gift.

Lisa,
No I haven't. I think I read it years ago, but I do want to re-read it.
