Hi! I am looking for some iron on embroidery transfers, specifically for pillow cases and in vintage style. I will be making some of those scrubbie thingies. I would like to barter those for the transfers... lets talk ?

Thanks!

Hi Karieann,
Send me your addy. I have a vintage transfer pattern for you.
I just found out about those scrubbies - wonderful little things!

Hi Karieann,
I don't know for sure that this works, but I just read that if you copy a pattern on a copier and then iron it onto your item, it works like an iron on transfers. I'd test it on scrap fabric first, but supposedly the ink will transfer off, so you could print and copy transfers that you find on the Web. Just thought I'd pass this on!

Karriann,

you might want to go to www.craft gossip.com

She posts new links to people who have hand stitch embroidery designs and cross stitch designs every single week and usually at least 10 different ones....like the other ladies said if you print them you can usually iron that design and it will transfer.......Mostly like you should bw able to find some design and a link to the blog it is on at this site.......she always displays these in a listing with a collague of the designs and you just click on the design you want and it takes you to the website page it is on.........It's wonderful and so many to choose from.....Kim

I use the red transfer pencils they really work. I can copy any picture on regular tracing paper and iron it on my fabric. Just remember when tracing words to turn the picture backwards and trace the words backwards so that when you iron it on the words come out correctly. Learned that lesson all by myself. LOL.
