....please pat me on the back. LoL! I started off pursuing my sewing farmgirl sisterhood badge ... by putting my sewing kit together. Well, it's a start! I have an old 30's jewelry box with a bake-lite handle..
it has roses painted on the top ... and I put everything in it. It's pretty! Sewing stuff came from my husband's "Nanny" (grandmother) ... I also got my sewing machine. Nanny bought it when she was 90 years old. She never stopped, she thought she'd do some things! It looks like she still might've! LoL! I suppose I should've posted this in the Stitching Room, but I always automatically post here. 
Now I need to start on the pinkeeper....

** patpatpat** on back, good for you Brooke! I enjoyed your blog. I will look up those books at the library. I love tea and tea pots. I have quite a collection. For Christmas I got a clear glass one with a clear infuser inside and it uses those tea blossoms that open when they steep. Can't wait to try it.It's gonna be soooo pretty. And, hey, those fig preserves of yours look yummy! mmmmm, can almost taste them.

Oh, Judy! Thank you! I am so behind on my blog! I want to do so much more with it and post photos of what I do. That should be one of my resolutions. I want to take a photo of the sewing box too. All you ladies here have such wonderful blogs! That means alot to me you enjoyed my little bitty blog. lol. I will be doing more in the new year - I just have to. It helps my creativity ... And I hope I can make more of those fig preserves sometime soon ...LOL! I love those clear glass tea pots with the flowering tea blossoms..I have that too. I got it for christmas last year actually. :D I'd love to have a Farmgirl tea party.. Wouldn't you? We could dress up in huge flowery hats and have tea out on a beautiful lawn on a clear, sunshiney day .... Okay! I'm dreaming! And it's cold outside!

Heeeeyyyyy....you just hit on something. Let's use our imaginations and create a "Virtual Farmgirl Tea Party!" We could start a new topic with a catchy title, and see who all joins us. We could describe our gowns, hats, jewels, hair-do's, etc, etc. We could each bring our favorite little sandwiches, tea cakes, cookies, etc, etc. We could stroll in with a make-believe guest like...um...Bette Davis, Cary Grant, Lucille Ball, Rhett buttler, etc, etc ummmm, describe the lawn and surrounding area, the smells, tastes, breezes....you get the idea. It's freezing outside my window. I could use a little make-believe. What say You??? *giggles like a child onChristmas morn*

I dunno....what do u think....it is getting late for some gals that have to get early. Should we risk giving them "hang-overs" in the morning and start now or should we really hold out for high noon tomorrow? Your call on this one Brooke. It's your "Tea!" lol

Well Brooke, I think they are done with the story. What do you think? It is NewYearsEve, probably a lot of them are going out somewhere. How do we end it? Should I leave that up to you to come up with a slam-bang finish? I think it was a lot of fun and it was a hit. Thank you Miss Brooke for playing along. We should do it again sometime.
