Hey Farmgirls!! I just talked to Karen on the phone. They are okay . . able to stay at her mom's house who lives across the street. My hubby and I have gone through this exact same thing . . . so I was able to offer her some suggestions about their recovery plan, going through the insurance process, accepting offers for help, etc., etc. IT IS OVERWHELMING!!! But you can get through it!!!!
If you are looking for suggestions for how you can help right now. - They need clothes . . . got out of house with only what they were wearing. - Karen needs a computer to set up to use at her mom's. - She homeschools their boys and lost all their books . . so will need those replaced.
