to get an artificial tree? I am soooo happy with this little tree. And am excited that it will be easy peasy to clean up after.
What do your trees look like? I would love to see them.
See my little travel trailer? I think this is about as close to getting one as I am going to get.
Have a good day!

We were going to get a live tree but never got around to it. So Truckin't Man and DD went to Dollar General and picked up a 6 footer. It's up and I'm happy with it. Yours is so pretty. I still can't figure out pictures.

Actually, getting live trees is better for the environment. Many artificial trees end up in landfills and don't decompose. Live trees are planted specifically for the Christmas season, and so cutting them isn't destroying a natural resource like clear cutting is. Live trees are planted back year after year. I get a live tree and deal with the needles. Although, I have seen some really cute fake trees, like yours. And, I love the feather trees also.....

What I love about the artificial trees, is you can put them up the first of Dec., and leave them up till New Years if you wish!! It's darling~~it took my Dad years to talk my Mom into an artificial tree, and she thought the same as you after she got her first one!!

hey Michelle, I LUV the little trailer ornamemt..... As for "faux" Christmas trees, I have been using them for years, but I also always buy a small real tree, the kind that comes in a 1-gal container and I decorate it. Then after the New Year when weather permits (back in California) I plant it....but up here in Washington I have to wait till Spring/Summer...so I get to enjoy my little tree indoors even longer.....including decorating it with hollowed out & decorated Easter Eggs. Your tree is so cute.

Really cute! Warmed my heart just seeing it! Thanks for sharing. I like the trailer ornament. Don't say you'll never have one, you just never know. LOL Marly

hey Michelle, I just peeked into your blog,,,hey you are in my neck of the woods....I lived in 1000 Oaks, Newbury Park & Moorpark but I worked up in Ventura for 17 years....I can not tell you how much I really miss my old stomping grounds especially California & Main in Ventura...loved the shops there. As for that cute little quilt shop,,,holy cow, how did I not know about it....bummer. But now I am up here in Washington and getting use to the snow has been quite interesting! lol! Oh & my cousin lives in S.B., actually tween S.B. & Goleta..... so be sure to share some of the S.B./Ventura CO. weather with us....

Love you tree and have fake ones for years and years. Got the first one because I had little kids and was worried about the fire hazard of a real one. Now I have a fake one, can take it wherever I go (sometimes over seas it is hard to get one) and know just how much room it will take up. I do have a small real one in a pot and I love that too. Your tree is really pretty. Is that a little mouse ornament and if so did you make it. My daughter loves mice and rat things and they are difficult to find.

I've had a fake one for years, #1 reason is cost, #2 reason is my very small living room ( I have a 4 ft pre-lite that is on my side table), #3 fire danger, I heat only with a wood burning stove, cut tree and that kinda heat don't mix, #4, getting a live tree doesn't work again for fitting in the small room, and all that are sold for Christmas will not grow here. Any who , your tree is as cute as can be.

OMG Sherrie, I collect Hallmark ornaments also. I collect both mini and the regular. I also buy anything Hallmark holiday related when it goes on a really good clearance price or at thrift stores. How funny!!!
