I am new and sooo happy to connect with everyone! Haveing trouble with nameing our chapter. It is just me and my daughter, my two boys, husband, and grandpa. I think thats all. lol Well my daughter and I were thinking about the Dirt Diggers? What ya think? We homeschool, have chickens, a cat, want ducks, have 3 raised bed garden that hopefuly will do good this year, and we have enough rocks to satisfy a collector!! Dont know if we will have more members as we live a bit out from town. So for now just us as a chapter. Anyone from around here, Kitsap Co. our chapters could get together and meet. That would be great, we could meet other farmgirls. I did read about the Chapter of one, She mentioned the olympic area? That might be close to visit? Well everyone have a great and beautiful day,
Blessings and love Wendy |

Welcome Wendy...how fun to get all your family involved in your chapter!! I have a small chapter too..just me and my sis in law moving here in a month and my very special friend in Alabama!! We hope to expand soon, but for now just the three of us and my cow Mona are in our chapter. I love the Dirt Diggers as a name..cute!!! I am so in awe of homeschoolers. I have four kids still at home (and three grown) and just don't think I have the patience! But I try my best to work with them at home alot and all are doing great at school. I volunteer at school ALOT and would pull them out and homeschool at the slightest hint that the school wasn't doing a good job. Our tiny town has a wonderful elementary school. I have several sis in laws and friends who do homeschool though, so I would never rule it out completely. We are also going to do raised beds this year.. I bet you will be able to find some Washington gals to get in touch with and get together..there are quite a few!! I have had so much fun meeting two Utah farmgirls (Libbie and Patricia) and hope to meet more soon. This group is really growing! I look forward to getting to know you better!!

Welcome Wendy. I'm sorry I didn't see your post sooner. I'm not too far from you, well...maybe a bit of a drive, down south of Chehalis. Your going to love it here. I just wish I had more time lately to come in and visit.

Welcome Wendy! Been to Bremerton many times. Almost lived there. My Dh and I ate at McDonald's(ick) after he proposed to me on the ferry, on the way to Bremerton form Seattle. I homeschool as well. Only one to go. She is in 9th grade. Glad to have you on board! Julia V.
