We share so much with each other from how to make natural safe cleaning products to cooking and charity work. So, I thought this would be a great idea to share your tried and true promoting tips. And, not only that leave tell us what you make and where you sell it. Do you own a store, on the internet, craft shows, newspapers, etc...

This is part of my Farmgirl Coop movement. I want to unite the farmgirls into one big community of sharing and supporting and selling. They do it on ebay and etsy, so why not here?

Tip#1- Make up your own bookmarks with a picture of your handiwork and give out stacks to all your female family and friends. Ask them to just give them out and do the promoting for you. (Let them pick out a small gift you've made for helping you)

Tip#2- Take those same bookmarks to work and leave them on your desk in a bowl of low-cal treat. Make up different ones with different pictures of your work and tell them to pick out the one they like best.

Tip#3-Order car magnets from vista print and put on your car or hubbys car for mobile advertising. Make sure to have a picture of your work on it too. Do not put your address.

Tip#4-Start a co-op group and support each other (Sunshine Farmgirl Co-op) you can find under chapter chatter. Free to join.

Tip#5-Help a farmgirl with a new shop or old shop with no sales or low sales by having a buying night. (Look under my thread for the clue I started)

Now, share your tips and ideas with the rest of us.

I love the bookmark idea....I might have to start including one with each doll as well. Thanks for the tips!

I have not tried this one yet, but I thought it sounded very cute when I herd it.

Place a quarter in one of those candy/treat machines at the store that the kids are always begging to play. Turn the knob just enough that no one can pull the quarter back out. Write turn on the back of your business card and prop on the knob. The child gets the treat and hopefully mom or dad gets the card.
