I've made this fruitcake recipe every year for the past 5 years...it's my absolute favourite fruitcake recipe and I get rave reviews from fruitcake lovers. It turns out wonderfully moist and tasty. I substitute pecans or almonds for the walnuts. Otherwise I make it as described.
