 Still feel bad. Still cough a lot. Running nose and a splitting headache too. Thought the flue was better so worked again after only one week off. I always start too soon, I know that but I did feel better last Tuesday. But with the rain and the cold it started again with a vengeance DUH
I have been awake all night with a terrible cough and am up now. Haven't slept a wink and am SO tired. Please say a little good health prayer for me if you feel inclined.
My eye (good right eye, my left is almost blind) is hurting too. Tears stream down my cheek and my vision is blurry often. Will call my dr in the morning to ask what it might be. Maybe will go and try to see an eye dr. in the afternoon to have it checked just in case. I am always very concerned about my sight because I only have one eye that is reasonable.

I get a watery eye in the winter. I think its the stuff they put on our roads to de-ice. I hope you get good news and feel better soon. |

Thanks gals. At the moment it is t 6.30 AM and am sitting here with a big mug of honey tea (and coughing duh). Will try to get some shuteye in a few minutes

Going to visit my doctor this afternoon. Cough is getting worse and now my eye is doing strange things too duh. Want her to check it out.

Went to the dr. Got anti biotics and Paracetamol with Codeine. The eye problem is a result of the flue, PTL nothing worse. Chest pain is a result of the coughing, that is what I thought already but better have her check it out too. NO pneumonia but bronchitis isn't helping either duh.

The cough medicine with codeine should help a lot. It can make you feel weird though--sorta like you're just floating along in a dream. But when you're feeling bad, that can be a good thing. I am saying a prayer that you get to feeling better and especially that your eye feels better. Please don't go back to work till you're sure you feel well enough.

Oh Dutchy~~so sorry you're feeling "puny", my DH's remedy was take a very hot bath till your sweating, a couple aspirin (not with your other meds tho..), and jump into bed and sweat it out!! Take good care and feel better!!

Am feeling better today, the meds are kicking in YAY. The cough is still there but not as fierce as it was. And the antibiotics are starting too. The runny nose is no longer running away from me lol
