Oh darn, don't have them yet. But am planning on getting them this spring. If I can figure out what is the best way to go, as far as hives. Michele |

Hi StarMeadow! I'm a beekeeper and I'm from Michigan too! I sent you an e-mail (with my address) ... I don't know if I'm too late or not! Are you a beekeeper too? Thanks, Tracey

Hi All -
We currently have 6 hives - it wasn't a good year for honey this year in the northeast, though. Too cold and rainy!
Thanks, Luanne (beekeepersgirl)

Tell me more about what you're doing with the Carpenter bees, please! Cross your fingers - I just found classes for basic bee-keeping starting in January. I wrote to see if they still have openings. I think I want to have hives (actually, I want someone to manage hives on my property and just let me have a bit of honey in exchange) so I thought it would be best to do the classes so I know what I'd be getting into.

Starmeadow!! Thanks so much for the happy-bee Bee Happy giftie! I love the notecards and the little pin, and don't you know I'm saving that wrapping paper, too, as well as the origami table. You are sweet as honey!!
