I had a pattern that used 10 yards of netting cut into strips, but cannot find it. I have not made these and would like to this Christmas. Do any one you have a crochet pattern similar to this that makes a lot of scrubbie? (crochet)

Hi Kristina.
Do you have the "MaryJane's Stitching Room" book? If you do, the pattern you are looking for is on page 87

I completely forgot I received that book with my membership. I knew I saw the pattern somewhere. Thank you so much!

Those little scrubbies are the best vegtable brushes! A nursing home near us sells them, I would never be with out them! Great gifts.

Forget buns of steel, I'd rather have buns of cinnamon!

I take the netting from veggies and tie knots in it...some knots in it make is roundish shaped..works for me...easy peasy, but maybe not pretty enough to sell. LOL

I make them but I never "wrote down the pattern. It was a combination of a couple of patterns, neither really suited me but blended together they were perfect.
If you haven't found your pattern, let me know and I will try to get it written down for you.

Does anyone have a picture of one? I never learned to crotchet, would love to learn but can only manage (pencil) sweaters as me and my mom say, lol, both my daughter-in-laws do so I might have them try it. I have used regular fish netting fabric and scrunched them into a wad and stitched them and they do well also.

The picture isn't "close up" unfortunately but here are some of mine.
They are crocheted in rounds and are sort of like a flattened ball.
I like the "balls" better than the flat single layer one's.

Thank you! Those are GREAT! I wish I had had my grandmother teach me how, she did beautiful work! I finally did get a blog spot so you all can see my antique booth, log cabin, ect. My antique booths are Santa Brigade & Antiques. I took a picture of the outside of the store, someday I hope to have my own..wonderful dream santabrigade.blogspot.com
