Yes, I said it. I know I too am one for not rushing through holidays. I had to put the tree up, because I have to decorate another house, work, and we are having family come from Maine to celebrate an early Christmas. My little cousin has his senior trumpet recital in early Dec. so we will have a quick holiday, rather than none like usual. :) I feel like I can relax and enjoy the rest of both holidays :)

I plan on putting up my tree tomorrow (the day after Thanksgiving). Ok... maybe not totally put together completely... but the tree at least standing. It takes over 3 hours to get the tree standing.

I promised Doug I would wait until after Thanksgiving to get the Christmas stuff out. Now I am really excited and can't wait to get the house decorated!!

I can't believe how many peeps here were putting up Yule decor before Thanksgiving as well as on Thanksgiving. Seems to be a movement this year And I'll be joining in as well. Trying to figure out a new spot for the table top tree......
